The Lebanese American University Appoints Rasha Fadda as Vice President for Finance-CFO
The President of the Lebanese American University (LAU), Dr. Chaouki T. Abdallah, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Rasha Fadda as Vice President for Finance-Chief Financial Officer for the University and its Medical Centers. “The appointment,” he said, “was the result of a deliberate search for a high-level, competent executive, marking a milestone in the university’s upward trajectory as it embarks on its second century.”
In this role, Mrs. Fadda will lead the strategic financial operations of a leading institution of higher education and healthcare in the region, building on LAU’s strong financial governance to support long-term sustainability and institutional growth. “It is an honor to join the Lebanese American University at this pivotal moment,” said Mrs. Fadda, expressing her commitment to “advance long-term financial sustainability, strengthen governance and transparency, and drive innovation that supports academic excellence, outstanding patient care, and institutional quality.”

She brings over 27 years of senior leadership experience across the telecommunications, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and the non‑profit sector, including roles at Unilever, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Eli Lilly, Allergan, British Telecom Global Services and most recently as Global Chief Financial Officer of the Clinton Health Access Initiative.
