Rouba Dirani
Lead Communications Associate
Rouba develops and implements communication strategies to enhance the institution’s visibility and engagement. She plans and manages integrated communications for key university entities, including the School of Arts and Sciences, Enrollment Management, Business Development and Global Affairs, the Arab Institute for Women, the Office of Sustainability and the Pharmaceutical and Medical Research Center, among others. She joined LAU in March 2024.
Previously, Rouba held key managerial positions across multiple industries, gaining extensive marketing and communication experience. Most recently, she served as a senior brand and corporate communications manager at the Food and Drug Corporation. She also had a leading position at Caritas Lebanon, where she directed the organization’s communication strategy and spearheaded innovative advocacy campaigns.
Rouba’s career also spans the advertising industry. She led media strategies for Unilever and other prominent brands across the Levant as a communications director at Magna Global.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Saint Joseph University, which she earned in 2003.
