The university tied for No.1 nationally in sustainability in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025 
and climbed from last year’s 401–600 bracket to the 101–200 bracket worldwide. 

The Alumni Association honored entrepreneur Christina Khater (BA ’06), founder and CEO of KristiesLab, and community leader and health advocate Hiba Yazbeck (BS ’97), with its annual Achievement and Recognition Awards.

Award-winning artisan jeweler and alumna Nada Ghazal (BA ’92) captivated the audience at an LAU London Alumni Chapter event that brought together close to 70 alumni and university friends.

The LAU Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine conferred 60 MD degrees, 43 resident diplomas, nine fellowship diplomas and six post-doctoral research certificates at its  hooding ceremony, while 59 medical students embarked on their clinical journeys. 

The ninth cohort of LAU fashion design graduates— the second largest since the program’s inception—explored the notion of revival in their collections at the annual graduate fashion runway.

LAU’s flagship Simulation Models marked 20 years of empowering generations of youth leaders at this year’s Awards Ceremony, which recognized 650 delegates with certificates and scholarships, out of a total of 5,000 participants. 

The Alice Ramez Chagoury School of Nursing celebrated the rite of passage of 40 nursing graduates, who took the Nightingale pledge and promised to serve their profession in Lebanon and beyond.

Graduates of the US–Middle East Partnership Initiative Tomorrow’s Leaders program reflected on their transformational experiences throughout the program at a joint LAU–AUB graduation ceremony held in their honor.
